The Information Marketing Business

Every now and then I see, read or receive something that makes me shake my head in disbelief and last week was one of those times.

I received an email from someone asking if we had a course that was…..

Now, I am not going to name this person because it’s not their fault that they want everything on a plate for them with little or no work.

They’ve been sold the wealth without work dream.

Now, and I’m going to be blunt now…

If this is what you think Information Marketing is all about then I politely ask you to scroll down and unsubscribe from my emails and updates today please.

The Info Marketing business is a SUPERB business one that pays you back tremendously BUT only for the work you put in.

Let me give you an example.

Last week I have had several telephone consultations, one day consultation with a Gold+ Member; at the weekend we spoke in London on the Saturday and on the Sunday we had our Gold+ Full day meeting with our Gold+ members.

And you know what….?

I love doing it!

I’m putting the work in now and it continues to pay me back as it has done for the last 9+ years.

On the plus side this year Karen and I are going to Aruba for three weeks, Barbados for 18 days, Italy for a week and long weekends in the UK.

Karen’s also been to New York with her friend and she’s off to Mexico in the summer to help with volunteer work in remote villages for 15 days.

Neil and I are booked to go to the USA 5 times this year (our first trip was in Jan/Feb) on a mix of business and a little pleasure (we work all the time while we’re there of course…not. :-)

As you can tell we love to travel.

I continue to invest in my own education and the important put into practice what I learn…and you can too.

Going back to the request from the gentleman above, If a course was supplied that detailed EVERYTHING in one place it would be multiple thousands of pages long and carry a price tag to match.

We sell step by step courses that do show and tell you what to do BUT the onus is on the people who buy it to put it into practice; and to use the support they receive including watching any training videos for more information, or emailing in to ask a question that needs answering.

Here’s another example.

We don’t sell a website design or website building course. (You can get 9 step by step videos on how to build a simple website on the Internet Marketing Review Membership site though)

If I did spend the TIME to put that together the cost would be over £500. You can get a site built for you for $100 from one of the freelance sites…and I recommend you do.

Heck you can get a site built by a UK web designer for less than £500!

We teach, show and demonstrate to you how to create your own info business..we don’t teach you how to be a web designer.

We recommend you know the basics BUT have the work done by others who like doing that kind of work. YOU focus on the business development and marketing.

The great thing about this business is that you can get going for very little investment; BUT the down side about this business is that…you can get going for very little investment! :-)

If people had to invest £100k or more they would treat it as a serious business AND work to make it pay off.

If I’ve annoyed, angered, irritated or upset you with this email then please take one thing away before telling me where to get off… :-)

Treat the Information Marketing Business as a business and work it as such!
